NYC Whole Foods Pulls Ad For Organic Chicken Sale Over Racism Claims

A Whole Foods Market in Manhattan, New York is in hot water for using an ad for the sale of organic chicken that featured a portrait of what appears to be Barack Obama. Because some complaining people found it racist, the sign was removed.

One complainer, Woody Henderson, said of the sign:

"There are certain things that have been used to put down black people — watermelon, fried chicken."

I don't see any fried chicken or watermelon in that ad, just organic chicken.

Now this is racist.
